Zen Nature Camp is a full-day outdoor holiday experience where children explore, move and slow down in nature.
The day takes place along the Cape Banks Walking Track at Kamay Botany Bay National Park. As we walk the trail, we pause for movement, breathwork, mindful games and quiet reflection moments.
This camp supports confidence, resilience and a growing connection to the natural world.
Coastal Trail Walk
A guided walk along the Cape Banks Track with time to explore, observe and learn from the environment.
Movement Stops
Playful movement including yoga, tai chi inspired sequences and gentle stretches at scenic points along the trail.
Breathwork & Mindful Games
Simple practices that help children pause, reset and tune in to their surroundings.
Silent Nature Walk
A short, guided moment of quiet to listen to the sounds of nature and notice what is around us.
Guided Visualisation
Children rest on mats or towels while listening to a calming story that links imagination with the natural environment.
Beach Clean-up & Swim
We finish the day by caring for the coastline with a gentle, supervised clean up, followed by a refreshing swim when conditions allow.

Zen Nature Camp is guided by experienced teachers trained in children’s wellbeing, outdoor supervision and mindfulness practices. All activities follow National Park guidelines.
Throughout the day we ensure:
Clear headcounts at all times
Defined trail boundaries
Regular hydration breaks and sun protection
Constant supervision during movement and play
Extra supervision during the beach swim
Families receive a detailed information and “What to Bring” guide prior to the camp day.
Valerie is an early childhood educator and children’s movement teacher who creates supportive spaces where children can move, breathe and feel at ease. She brings years of experience guiding camps and classes, with a calm, encouraging approach that helps children feel confident and connected.
Shane is a movement, breathwork and meditation teacher with a strong connection to nature. His work supports children to slow down, tune in and develop awareness through gentle movement and mindful practices.
